Weekly Worship at ECC
Our service begins at 10:45 AM on Sunday mornings.
Our worship service is best described as liturgical, theologically progressive, and informally formal! Service typically lasts about an hour.
Feel free to come as you are and dress as you’d like. Here at ECC, you’ll find all sorts of people from all different walks of life. Some folks like to dress up for church, while others wear jeans. You are welcome and will feel at home just as you are.
We still have pews, and our pipe organ fills the sanctuary with a beautiful sound as we most often sing progressive hymns.
At ECC, we have Communion every Sunday. Everyone is invited to the table. You do not have to be a member of our church or any church to take communion.
Following service each week, we host a coffee time in our Fellowship Hall. This is an informal time to deepen and build relationships and catch up with friends.
Our building is located at:
511 N. 44th Ave., Yakima, WA 98908
We have several spots for those with disabilities near the main entrance off of 44th Ave. Most people park in the North parking lot, parallel with Englewood Ave. We also have a south parking lot accessible from 44th Ave., and Douglas St.
The sanctuary is located at the far South end of the building. Following worship guests are invited into the Fellowship Hall, just off the main entrance, for refreshments. Monthly potlucks (first Sundays) are especially popular.
Kids/Youth:
We have special kids’ programming that includes a short lesson, an art activity, and a chance for kids to build relationships with one another during our worship service. Kids are also welcome to sit with their families if they prefer or find ways to volunteer to help during services.
