12/15/24 Announcements
If you missed our weekly worship service today, you can watch this video of our service here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axwEntRxhc4
We held our Congregational Meeting after service today. We approved our leaders for 2025. (You can see them attached to this email). We also voted to postpone the vote on the budget until the stewardship committee can revisit our budget one more time. We will have another congregational vote on Sunday, January 26th right after service.
This afternoon, several individuals will be going caroling for our homebound members at 3 PM. If you would like to join them, you can meet at the church at 3 PM.
This afternoon, we are hosting the Canticus concert at 4 PM today.
This year, we are partnering with Wesley United Methodist Church for the Longest Night of the Year Service. This is a service that acknowledges grief, loneliness, and struggles during the holiday season. This service will be held this coming Saturday 12/21 at 7 PM at Wesley United Methodist Church.
Next Sunday is our Kid’s Christmas service during our weekly worship. All kids need to be at church by 10:10 in the Sanctuary so that they can get in costume and do a short run through.
Also, next Sunday is the Finch Family and Friends Christmas Concert at 2 PM.
There will not be a Diaconate Training next Sunday after service, rather one will be scheduled in January and a new date announced soon!

We are collecting our joys and concerns during Advent, rather than sharing them aloud during service. Here are the Joys and Concerns that were shared today:
The family of 17-year-old Lucas Mapes who recently passed away.
Pray for “Aunt Anna” who is adjusting to her new life in a nursing home. She is 106 years old and none of her relatives live near to her.
Pray for those traveling for the holidays.
Pray for Jeff Plaster as he recovers from lung biopsy.
Pray for the family of Lowell Bossarcht.
